How do I work out the price for a consulting job?

• Talk to Business Managers to assist in completing pricing spreadsheet
• Information required to cost a project are:
  • Salary grade, eg Professor, Research Assistant etc
  • Who will be involved in the project?
  • Hourly or daily rate?
  • Estimated number of hours, if hourly rate
  • What expenses are to be incurred?
  • Will consulting funds be returned to your School under the UQ pricing policy or do you wish to be paid privately?
