UniQuest’s annual experiential education program includes various activities for postgraduate research students enrolled at UQ and our partner institutions.

Australian (domestic) research higher degree candidates are also encouraged to study an approved Graduate Certificate program in commercialisation offered at many universities, including UQ and our partners: the Graduate Certificate in Technology and Innovationⁱ Management and the Graduate Certificate in Research Commercialisationⁱ.

Both courses aim to equip novice career researchers with the skills, knowledge and experience for taking research-based ideas, inventions and innovations to market.

And through the Australian Federal government’s Commercialisation Training Scheme (CTS), candidates can apply to their institutions for grants to cover the full cost of tuition fees.

UniQuest has also partnered with UQ Business School to deliver a Commercialisation in Practice and Management of Intellectual Property course, and internship opportunities.
