Protein Stability Screening Assay

Understanding the stability of proteins and the physical and chemical factors leading to their unfolding is an essential component in many R&D programs. Studies, such as RP-HPLC and Thermofluor, are generally expensive and time-consuming, and are often unsuitable for testing the effect of a number of different physical and chemical factors.

James Cook University researchers have developed a less expensive and more efficient technology - a mix, spot, wash and read screening assay that is quick, sensitive, low cost, and has widespread applications.
