LiquidKeyboard - Easier, faster, tactile-responsive typing on touch screens

LiquidKeyboard, developed at UTSi, is a virtual keyboard for touch screens which adapts to the users natural finger positions. LiquidKeyboard allows users to feel the keys and use all fingers for typing, increasing input speed and reducing hand fatigue. Although prototyped for QWERTY keyboards, the technology could be applied to data gloves, interfaces for vehicle/machine control, ambient systems interfaces (computers integrated in furniture or clothing), and projected displays with infra-red finger position tracking devices.
