Graphene on Tap

Graphene on Tap, developed at the University of Wollongong and the University of Technology, Sydney, is an economical method of producing individual layers of graphene on a mass scale. Graphene on Tap allows high purity hydrophobic graphite to be dispersed in water to produce individual sheets without the addition of other stabilisers or additives. This process is significantly cheaper than the methods used to produce exotic carbon nanostructures and CNTs (carbon nanotubes). Energy storage and the automotive industry represent the majority of the market for electronic devices such as sensors and visual displays.
