Exercise Bra - Better support for women who want to exercise in comfort

Exercise induced breast discomfort (EIBD) is commonly experienced during physical activities such as running and jumping. EIBD is particularly apparent in larger breasted women, and can be a concern post-pregnancy. International studies have found that 56% of women suffer from breast pain whilst jogging. Customer expectations, the sophistication of bra design, and competition among bra manufacturers are driving demand for bras which provide better comfort and support. University of Wollongong researchers have designed a new type of bra to alleviate EIBD.
