BiReme’s objective BRtest^TM  measures the switching process of perceptual rivalry to identify patients with bipolar disorder. The technology was developed by the Sensory Neurobiology Group at The University of Queensland. Trials using the device revealed that people with bipolar disorder have a significantly slower switching rate than the general population.
