Archie Biofeedback

Archie is an intrinsic foot muscle biofeedback  device for testing and assisting with the retraining of the plantar muscles of the foot and ankle. It provides a reliable measure in real time of the ability to elevate the mid arch of the foot as well as heel and toe lift. Developed by researchers at the University of Technology, Sydney, the device could be used by clinicians to assess the patient’s performance in real time, and over a succession of visits determine improvements in foot function with a prescribed exercise program. In the home-use market, patients would use the device to measure their own performance and  monitor their own improvements over time.
