Experts Exchange is an annual forum to help academics and their research teams understand industry engagement, and how to optimise their expertise and skills through consulting and contract research.
A panel of UQ academics outline their experiences of engaging with external partners, including the risks, rewards, and reasons why they have added this dimension to their careers. The informal atmosphere of the forum encourages interaction, and previous attendees have expressed appreciation for the opportunity to have their questions answered with candour and common sense.
The networking after the forum encourages researchers interested in consulting to talk directly with their peers and discuss possible collaborations.
