Expert in control of parasites, cattle ticks.

Professor Rothwell is interested in the control of economically important livestock parasites, in particular by using chemicals and overcoming resistance to chemicals.  Recent research interests include: sheep blowfly and alternatives to mulesing, control and culture of buffalo flies, control of cattle ticks and novel ways to control paralysis ticks.
