David Trigger is Professor of Anthropology at The University of Queensland. He has 30 years of experience researching Aboriginal land claims, native title and related project negotiations. He has prepared more than 50 major reports and been engaged as an expert witness on a range of matters involving Australian Indigenous cultures.  Professor Trigger’s broader research interests encompass the different meanings attributed to land and nature across diverse sectors of society and in different countries.
