Dr Wallis is an archaeologist with more than 15 years’ experience specialising in Indigenous cultural heritage.  She can undertake cultural heritage surveys, significance assessments, salvage excavation and analysis, and prepare management plans.  Her consultancy experience includes provision of services to local government, state government, the mining sector and Indigenous organisations.  She is also an international expert in the area of phytolith analysis in archaeology and palaeoenvironmental studies.
