How do I draft a tender?

• Talk to Wilma James or Business Managers to assist in compiling a tender submission
• Steps involved:
  • Check deadline date and start EARLY!
  • Contact appropriate researchers to ascertain their interest and availability to contribute and deliver
  • Assign researchers to develop and provide methodology and input into project costings
  • UniQuest will complete compliance requirements
  • Tender will be submitted under UniQuest’s name as contracting party (researchers will be sub-contracted by UniQuest to undertake the project)
  • UniQuest will liaise with Department re decision on winning party
  • If successful, UniQuest will:
    • advise researchers when they can proceed
    • finalise contract with the Department
    • project manage milestones appropriate to the project
    • liaise with client and researchers as appropriate during the duration of the project
