We deliver services via three externally-focused divisions: Technology Commercialisationi (Techcomi), Consulting and Research (C&Ri), and International Development (ID); supported by two internal divisions: Executive and Financial Services & IT. The Queensland Government-supported ilab business incubator and accelerator became a divsion of UniQuest in 2012.
Techcom specialises in adding value to the outcomes of early stage research: staff identify, protect, package and manage technologies and innovations to generate income via licence royalties, investment and shareholdings.
ilab provides a comprehensive range of services to support a wide range of new technology-driven enterprises, such as networking, education and funding programs for supporting high-growth start-up companies.
The expertise of researchers is commercialised through our C&R Division, which provides access to an expansive and exclusive network of independent academics to tailor a consulting or project R&D solution to meet the diverse needs of industry and government, facilitating some 500 consulting, expert opinion, testing, and contract research services each year.
Our International Development Division is a leading Australasian provider of international development assistance, recognised for excellence in technical leadership, management and research. Working with agencies such as AusAIDi, NZAIDi, the Asian Development Bank and the World Banki, this division has developed and implemented more than 400 projects in 60+ countries throughout the Pacific, South-East Asia, the Indian sub-continent and Africa.
